Abram vs. Papa Round I

Today was Abram's first experience with chicken and I thought I would share it with you all.  Even though he is wearing two different outfits in these pictures I assure you these pictures were taken the same day only moments apart :)  I have translated Abram's grunts and growling for your convenience.

Abram:  Papa - I do not want to eat this chicken you cooked for me.  I really do not want to.  Can't I have some yogurt....even some carrots....how about sweet potatoes?

  

Josh:  no Abram, I cooked this chicken...you're going to eat it and you're going to like it

  

Abram:  I do not like this chicken

Josh:  Eat it

Abram: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm going to tackle you

  

Abram:  I'm tackling you

  

Abram:  You must pay

  

Abram:  I will destroy you

  

Abram:  I have conquered Papa

  

Abram:  I want to fly.  Make me fly Papa, make me fly

  

Abram:  Ughhhhh, you shouldn't fly after eating chicken

 

Abram:  I am super baby!!

9 Months!

 Hey Everybody - I turned 9 months old today!

 

 Isn't that crazy?

  

I'm learning to crawl and will soon be unstoppable

  

Bathtime is one of my favorite times with Abram - he is a pretty happy baby anyways but put him in the tub and he goes wild.  He loves the water and splashing and is just generally super cute.

 Last, but not least, Josh defended his PhD proposal on Tuesday.  Basically, it means that a committee of his professors approved his PhD research plan.  If all goes well he will be Dr. Livermore in 2-3 years.  I snapped this shot of him right after he walked in the door after his defense.  I haven't seen him this excited in a really long time.

Abram also had some fun time with Max and Addy last week and this time we were able to capture Max in some of the pictures.  Addy is a wonderful big sister to Max and she did a great job of entertaining Abram all weekend.
