Abram has been busy!

Abram has spent some quality time outside now that the weather is getting better.  Here he is with a few of his neighborhood friends, Adele and Annie.  This is the best shot I got of them.  Wrangling three toddlers is not easy.

Last weekend we celebrated Grandpa Martin's birthday with a surprise visit from Auntie Lisa.  We don't get to see Lisa and Mike often enough since they are out in North Carolina but Abram definately enjoys the visits.

We've been able to go on several walks but still have to bundle up.

  

This past weekend we visited my parents and celebrated Easter a week early.  Great Uncle Chris and Great Aunt Vicki also made the trip.  Abram had so much fun that he got worn out and slept then entire trip home.  Most of the pictures are on grandma's camera so hopefully I'll be able to add more later.

It turns out he is a pretty good hunter.  He must get his skills from his grandpas and uncles.  Not only did he find eggs but a sand pail, shovel and lots of fun new outfits.  Thank you Easter Bunny!

 

What a busy two weeks!!!!

10 Months Old!

Abram turned 10 months old today!  He celebrated by staying home with papa - going on 2 walks, learning how to wave and discovering how to play ball toss.  It was a busy day!

I decided to post some reality shots for Abram's 10 month picture.   Here he is after some bell peppers, green beans, applesauce and prunes.  He is a happy camper.

Visit with Grandpa

Grandpa Terry is here for the weekend and Abram is having tons of fun.  

Abram's newest favorite toy is maracas.  He's just figured out how to shake them instead of eat them.

 I was trying to capture Abram's maraca shaking on video when he noticed I had the camera out and lunges for it.  He's done this a couple times now - anytime he notices something new he'll drop whatever he has in his hands and go for the new object.  This afternoon he even noticed grandpa was sitting next to him dropped his toy and jumped into grandpa's arms for a hug (it may have been interpreted by an outsider as attacking grandpa- but I know it was meant to be friendly) - it was super cute!

We are so thankful the snow is finally gone.  Today it actually reached 60 and we went for a beautiful walk.  Josh's latest toy is a baby backpack.  I think he likes carrying around Abram as much as Abram likes being toted around.

Having Fun

 

Abram and I had a fun weekend in Des Moines with Great Aunt V.  They got to play while I attended a conference - they may have had too much fun!  Abram was sad to say goodbye.

 

We don't have any pictures but we also got to have dinner with Erin and Donny.  Baby Hill should be making an appearance any day now so Abram will gain a new friend.

Abram loves the camera and I can't help but take pictures.  Here are a few of just having fun around the house while waiting for the weather to warm up.

Abram upgraded from the infant car seat to a convertible car seat.  For those of you without kids this does not mean that we bought a convertible :(  Just that Abram can sit facing forward or backward in it.

  

He decided the box was way more fun than the actual seat.

  

 It's as big as a house!

Scooting-   Abram's newest trick is scooting across the floor.  Since we have hardwood floors he has decided that scooting is much safer than crawling.  Of course we had to take a video to share this newest talent:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk4sp0owcJM

We are so thankful that both sets of Abram's grandparents are close enough to visit often.  He enjoys the visits and has so much fun with grandma and grandpa.  Now that he is mobile he gives them a workout too.
