First Trip to Pagliai's

Abram, Josh and Aunt Vicki outside Pagliai's Pizza in Iowa City.  Aunt Vicki and Uncle Chris used to love coming to Pagliai's when they lived in Iowa City so V wanted to get Abram started early.  We caught the eye of a photographer taking pictures for the Cedar Rapids Gazette while we were there so keep an eye out for Abram's first newspaper appearance.

Abram has to fight off the cats for his turn in the cradle. Tito and Kee Cat beat him to it in the picture above. They do try to sneak in a nap whenever Abram does.

Abram's First Week Home

Abram has lots of aunties who love him to bits, including Auntie Liz holding him in this picture.
Tito is pictured above after a few days of having Abram home. Tito and Kee Cat aren't getting their normal 20-22 hours of sleep a day and it's starting to wear him down.

Josh and I thought this picture captured a little bit of the chaos of the first few days home. I believe it was taken less than 24 hours after getting home.

Abram Comstock Livermore

We were blessed with a baby boy, Abram Comstock Livermore, on Sunday, May 17th at 4:47 AM.  He weighed 8 lbs and 15 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long.  He had some low glucose levels and spent Sunday - Thursday in the NICU but we were able to bring him home today.  We'll be adding more pictures but here are a few from the hospital.

At a shower hosted by Josh's department we got to use our crafty side and everyone decorated onesies.

Liz is predicting our baby will join Peter as a future Red Egg Winner

Baby Showers Bring... a May Baby?

We've been blessed with wonderful friends and family who have showered us with all kinds of wonderful things to welcome the baby.

Updates

We were able to get one last night on the town before baby's arrival.

Easter Sunday we were joined by future Grandma Debbie, Peter and Liz.

Everyone smiling and happy before Liz found the hole Peter had cut in her bag.  He took a page right out of the Comstock Egg Hunt Playbook.

The day wasn't without some friendly competition.

The afternoon ended with the annual Egg Hunt with Peter capturing the grand prize!
