D.C.

I had to go to Washington D.C. this week for a few days for work and Abram and Grandma Livermore came with me.  Linda took these pictures during the trip.  Abram took his first flight, taxi and Metro ride all before he turned 11 weeks old.  He did great on the entire trip and got lots of attention.  At one point we had several TSA officials cooing over him.  His favorite part of the trip was flirting with Griselle on the Metro.

Camp

This summer we decided to join my parents for family camp at Lutheran Lakeside (the camp where Josh and I worked together).   While most of our time was spent taking care of Abram we were able to get some sailing, swimming and bunko (sp?) in.  Abram's favorite part of camp was naptime.

He made it to the pool once, we stayed about 10 minutes until Uncle Andy splashed him as he bellyflopped off the diving board and that ended fun time at the pool.

Baptism

Abram was baptized at the lakeside of the same camp Josh and I met at.  We were so blessed to have family and friends join us for the special day.  Abram's sponsors are wonderful friends, Erin and Donovan, whom we also met at camp.

4th of July

It's been a long time since we updated.  Abram experienced his first 4th of July.  The weather was wonderful for the 4th and Iowa City has a Jazz Festival over the weekend so I've included some pictures from the day.

Quick Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that our computer was out of commission for the past week and then our camera broke.  Our computer is fixed and our camera is in the shop.  As soon as we have both working I'll add some updates.  

I can't believe Abram turns 8 weeks old tomorrow!!!!

Papa is getting very good at making him smile.  Grandma and Grandpa call and 'talk' to Abram on the phone, which is really cute.  Grandpa has even got Abram to stop crying one night.

The little man is hungry so we've got to go but hopefully we'll be able to add some pictures soon he's getting very tall.

Father's Day

We spent Father's Day weekend in Omaha.  Abram met Great-Grandpa Clayton and Great Uncle Randy and Great Uncle Chris for the first time this weekend.  He had such a busy weekend figuring out how to smile and meeting all his extended  family he slept the entire 4 hour car ride home from Omaha to Iowa City.

One Month

These pictures were taken during Abram's fourth week.  I wish I had more time to add all the funny stories that Abram has provided us with but he keeps us pretty busy with all the eating, sleeping and eliminating he does.We'd been so busy with trying to meet Abram's basic needs that we forgot he had all kinds of fun toys so we got them all out.  We think we may have overstimulated the little guy but the cats were really excited about all the fun new things.
