Vacation

We were so, so lucky to take a vacation to Cancun before baby #3 arrives. We were spoiled by a week of not having to cook or clean.  The only bad part of our vacation was having to come home :(

Stella had been in her carseat all day long and didn't want to get out - even when we arrived at the resort.

 

 After we pried Stella out of her seat we headed straight for the beach.

Abram loved the calm, clear, warm water.

After the beach we headed to the pool which quickly became his favorite place to 'swim.'  Our days fell into a lovely routine

-pool

-lunch

-rest

-pool

-dinner

-bed

It was heavenly for all involved.

Stella loved the soft sand.

Abram and I took off for a leisurely kayak ride.  I thought he might be nervous but he kept asking me to go further and further to where all the 'big' boats were at.

Each morning we watched the sunrise on the patio.  Stella loved all the one on one time with her Papa.

Stella made friends wherever she went.  Here she is with our favorite waiter, Antonio.

Abram told Stella they needed to exercise so they went for a run on the beach.

More Summer Fun

Here are some pictures that Nana sent us the weekend from our trip back this summer.

Pre-School

Abram's new pre-school had an open house.  We got all ready with supplies, backpack, and new sneakers.

While we were there they had all kinds of activities and Abram painted a picture of Oscar the Grouch.  Abram currently loves anything stinky and or slimey.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Clayton!

Great - Grandpa Clayton turned 80 this month!  We were lucky he let us celebrate with him a week early before we had to leave Omaha.  We had a John Deere themed party.

Fun at Grandma and Grandpas

Our last week in Iowa we spent and Grandma and Grandpa Livermore's. Grandma Linda got some great new toys for the kids.  It's a bird, it's a plane, no...it's SUPER Stella!

Abram got several fish on this trip. He doesn't quite now how to tell a 'fish tale' yet so if you ask him how big the fish is he will honestly tell you, "very little" with a huge smile on his face.

Uncle Nick's Wedding

Last week Uncle Nick married Lisa (now Aunt Lisa).  We were lucky to be able to attend before we headed back to South Bend.  Abram was the ring bearer and Lisa and Nick got him the coolest cowboy boots ever to go with his tux.  Abram fell in love with the boots.  At the rehearsal dinner he got to try them out as Lisa introduced him to the horses.
