Vacation!

Abram, Josh and I were lucky enough to spend the last week in sunny Florida.  While we hit the coldest week in Florida for the past 30 years we still had fun!  We picked Florida because of the non-stop flight from Cedar Rapids.  Abram did a great job on the flight, better than we did in fact.  Probably due to the fact that he doesn't have to use those airplane bathrooms and his beverages get through security.  On the way down he played peek-a-boo with a woman sitting behind us, flirted with the girls in our row.  On the way home he slept 3/4 of the flight.  What a great little boy we have!

Once we got to Florida the first couple of days were spent hanging out with Abram's Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mike.  We haven't seen each other since Abram was about a week old.  What a reunion.  There were lots of smiles, hugs, dancing and laughter...and Abram had fun too :)

Here I am in my cool high chair for the first time - while mom and dad pack for our trip!

Vacation is great!  Papa is reading to me all about the hotel amenities.  What a good book!

Yeah!  My first trip to the beach.  I may look a little sad but that's cause it's too cold to go in the water.

Self portrait of a family vacation fun moment.

The party really started when Auntie Lisa got there.  She even brought me a cool present.  I am still good at opening from all that practice at Christmas.

Uncle Mike got a work out playing Superbaby with Abram.

Abram and Auntie Lisa share a love of reading.  I bet she didn't know there were such great works written on the merits of underwear!

Abram was so sad when it was time to say goodbye :(

The rest of the trip was just the three of us...

Papa experienced a hurricane simulator.  Abram thought it was hilarious.

We managed to get in one day in the water- thanks to a heated pool.  He really had much more fun than he's showing here.

Last day on the beach.

Another vacation come and gone.  The best thing about the end of vacation is planning the next one!  Who knows where we'll show up next.
