Some of the things that currently make me smile when I think of Stella:
- Her laugh
- She doesn't have variable speeds - she is either stopped or going full throttle. She bounds from place to place - often tripping and running into things but she doesn't let that stop her. Stella was born about 2 hours after I realized I was in labor - she entered the world at warp speed and hasn't slowed down yet.
- When talking to Isabel she uses a very high 'baby voice.' My favorite things she says are "Hiiiiiiii baby" and the way she says Isabel "Isaoabellle"
- She freely gives hugs and kisses and likes to cuddle.
- Stella is determined to do everything on her own. Unlike other two year olds that I've known - she doesn't get as frustrated when she can't get something on the first try and is very patient and keeps trying something until she's mastered it. Things she's figured out: putting on her shoes, socks, and working on clothes, buckling herself into her highchair, peeling a clementine, escaping from any room, at anytime, without anyone noticing
- After she finishes a bowl of cereal she drinks the milk from the bowl. No one in our family does this so I don't know where she picked it up. Tonight she was having a piece of birthday cake and I gave it to her in a bowl. She was trying to get every last piece and picked up the bowl and tried to 'drink' up all the crumbs. It was adorable and sad all at the same time!
- When skyping - she'll give people on the computer 'hugs.'
- Her beautiful blue eyes.
- She loves getting her nails done, and by done I mean trimmed, but she acts as if she's getting a spa pedicure.
- She roars at the lions at the zoo.
- She adores her sister and brother.
- She is very good a sharing, usually.
- She loves playing in the sand, dirt, mud, paint, really anything as long as it is not clean.
- She is smart, beautiful, and fearless.
We love you Stella!
